To the Third Empire was first published in 1980. Minnesota Archive Editions uses digital technology to make long-unavailable books once again accessible, and are published unaltered from the original University of Minnesota Press editions. Critical acclaim greeted Brian Johnston's 1975 book on Ibsen's final phase, The Ibsen Cycle.
