The central concern of Truth, Community, and the Prophetic Voice is to ask how it might be possible today to uphold an understanding of the prophetic voice that comports in essential ways with its expression in the biblical vision, while attending especially to contemporary judgments regarding the epistemological significance of community and concerns about the nature and function of claims to truth.
