Bu çalışma daülkemiz yönünden oldukça önemli olan deniz ticareti, deniz ticareti ile ilgili gemi yatırımların değerlendirilmesi ve özellikle gemi yatırım projelerinin analizinde riskin nasıl göz önüne alınabileceği ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaca yönelik olarak, simülasyon tekniği kullanılmış; örnek bir gemi yatırım projesinin Monte Carlo Simülasyon yöntemi ile net şimdiki değeri ve riski belirlenmiştir.
