Grace had taken on a huge challenge by moving from the city to a ranch with two children. She had her plans in place but things didn’t go as planned. For no rhyme or reason, after having paid her deposit, the power hadn’t been connected. Biding her time, she waited. In the meanwhile they went through unnecessary hardships of every kind. Adjusting her internal clock so that they woke up with the sun, and went to bed the moment it grew dark. Without power, her life had been placed on hold causing a delay. Gathering Dark

Keira Brannon is hallucinating. First it's a door hovering above the road; then it's a tree in the middle of her living room. But with her parents constantly fighting and her best friend not speaking to her, Keira can't tell anyone about her breakdown. Instead, she throws herself into her music, her one ticket out of her dead-end town. Then she meets Walker. Keira can't ignore their electric connection - or the fact that somehow Walker seems to be able to see the same strange, dark and shadowy images. Finally she feels like she has someone to confide in. A Statistical History of Rugby League -

The Greatest Game of All or Rugby League as it is known to some has given me nearly a half a century of pleasure and a little pain. In 1966 at the ripe old age of 6 I was introduced to our game when my Uncle Harry moved into the bedroom I shared with my younger brother in a 2 bedroom fibro joint in Rockdale(Dragon Territory). Harry was playing lower grades for Jack Gibsons Roosters and went on to play for St George in the 1971 Grand Final against my other front rower mate John Sattler and his Rabbitohs. By the age of 9 I had memorized every player in the Big League magazine. The game became my obsession. Even if I had not been lucky enough to play over 100 games in the best competition in th...

The Outline of History

Coming right after the carnage of World War I, this title was neither unduly pessimistic and cynical about the human condition nor Pollyannaish about humanity's future. Instead, it offered an account of the development of the world's civilizations up to the present, showing that an enlightened future depended on an unprejudiced view of the past.

Down Cathedral

Down Cathedral is one of the two oldest ecclesiastical foundations in Ulster still in use. Although the present structure dates from the early 13th century it is known that there had been a monastery and place of workship on the Hill of Down for many centuries before then. This book describes and illustrates the history of the Hill of Down from those earliest times to the present day. The relationship of St Patrick with the Hill is narrated and takes careful account of the latest research, some of it controversial, on the association of the island's patron saint with the Hill on which he is thought to be buried. The intriguing early and middle history of the Cathedral, including the building...
