Danish photographers Trine Søndergaard (born 1972) and Nicolai Howalt (born 1970) joined annual fall and winter hunts in Denmark to create their series How to Hunt. Portraying the age-old practice in its contemporary incarnation as a sport, the duo investigates hunting's transformation from a necessity of survival to a symbol of cultural privilege.

Cet ouvrage a été réalisé à l'occasion de la cinquième exposition de Lumières Nordiques, présentée au MuMa, Le Havre, du 13 octobre 2018 au 19 mai 2019.00Cet ouvrage de la collection Lumières Nordiques qui accompagne la dernière étape du cycle des cinq expositions en Normandie nous invite à découvrir l'oeuvre de la photographe danoise Trine Sondergaard. Deux de ses séries sont aujourd'hui présentées au MuMa - Musée d'art moderne André Malraux du Havre : ± Guldnakke ? et ± Interior ?. Si leurs motifs diffèrent, elles se complètent et se rejoignent autour de l'expression d'une atmosphère particulière qui a donné à l'exposition son titre : ± Still ?, et d'une référence à la peinture. ± Interior ? est d'ailleurs explicitement inspirée de l'oeuvre du peintre danois Vilhelm Hammershøi, dont une toile de la collection du musée d'Orsay est exposée en regard des photographies.00G.B.
