GHAZAL THE KUFRI GIRL

My story ‘The Girl Who Ran Away’ is an alluring fable of a girl named Ghazal Dialik, who ran away from her home at the age of fifteen because her parents compelled her to drop studies and marry a boy from her community. My story portrays a true picture of the gruesome scenario of our society. Few months back I read an article in the newspaper about a girl from a village in South India who scored 92% marks in her board exams. She had to run away from her house to save herself from the trap of child marriage. This article inspired me to write the story of Ghazal Dialik. Ghazal is a young, teenager brimming with energy and enthusiasm to shape her life with education. Her thirst for education led her to cross all the hurdles on the way. It is necessary to narrate Ghazal's story to my readers because it's not unique. Even after so many years of independence India has not attained 100% literacy. After reading this story we should pledge that our generation should be the last to grapple for education. If we (our generation) all stand united against illiteracy, we may hope to welcome a generation where education is not an opulence.

IF STARS COULD SPEAK THE UNTOLD STORY

Compiling a book is more like combining all the spices you’ve and bringing out a unique dish. Starting from the moment I thought to compile a book and finally getting it published, the journey was demanding yet full of new experiences, uncertainty and a strong mindset of ‘not to give up’. Connecting all the writers across India in one platform is possible due to Unikfeel Publication Team and Prashant Srivastav, national chief of Unikfeel for mentoring me throughout the process.I am thankful to all the co-authors for trusting me and coming together to make this happen. I would thank my parents for believing me and all the people who directly or indirectly supported me. Every page of this book has some emotions and uniqueness and worth. So don’t just skip the pages, READ !

Stealing Heaven

My name is Danielle. I'm eighteen. I've been stealing things for as long as I can remember. Dani has been trained as a thief by the best—her mother. Together, they move from town to town, targeting wealthy homes and making a living by stealing antique silver. They never stay in one place long enough to make real connections, real friends—a real life. In the beach town of Heaven, though, everything changes. For the first time, Dani starts to feel at home. She's making friends and has even met a guy. But these people can never know the real Dani—because of who she is. When it turns out that her new friend lives in the house they've targeted for their next job and the cute guy is a cop, Dani must question where her loyalties lie: with the life she's always known—or the one she's always wanted.

Guitar Notes

On odd days, Tripp uses a school practice room to let loose on a borrowed guitar. Eyes closed, strumming that beat-up instrument, Tripp escapes to a world where only the music matters. On even days, Lyla Marks uses the same practice room. To Tripp, she's trying to become even more perfect—she's already a straight-A student and an award-winning cellist. But when Lyla begins leaving notes for him in between the strings of the guitar, his life intersects with hers in a way he never expected. What starts as a series of snippy notes quickly blossoms into the sharing of interests and secrets and dreams, and the forging of a very unlikely friendship. Challenging each other to write songs, they begin to connect, even though circumstances threaten to tear them apart. From beloved author Mary Amato comes a YA novel of wit and wisdom, both heartfelt and heartbreaking, about the power of music and the unexpected chords that draw us together.
