The Auckland School
Evening lectures in a cold basement in 1917 mark the meagre beginnings of the University of Auckland's School of Architecture and Planning, now a highly rated and internationally competitive school. The Auckland School holds a special place in New Zealand's architectural and planning history, because it combines the country's oldest school of architecture and its oldest department of planning.
