From the back cover: The objective of this book is to provide students in administrative sciences with a number of cases of Quebec manufacturers presenting several aspects of managing the small and medium-sized business. The cases are drawn from four sub-sectors: shoe manufacturers, sporting goods, machine and equipment building and aviation manufacturing. Each case presents a problem that is common to the industrial sector and that must be resolved.
