This publication, which accompanies a Queensland Art Gallery exhibition of the same name, surveys William Yang's five decades of art practice across photography, video and spoken word performance. It traces Yang's career from his early days as a social photographer in the 1970s through to some of his well-known photographic series exploring family ties, and sexual and cultural identity, as well as his recent large-scale landscape works.
