Advances in Computer Systems Architecture
On behalf of the program committee, we were pleased to present this year’s program for ACSAC: Asia-Paci?c Computer Systems Architecture Conference. Now in its ninth year, ACSAC continues to provide an excellent forum for researchers, educators and practitioners to come to the Asia-Paci?c region to exchange ideas on the latest developments in computer systems architecture. This year, the paper submission and review processes were semiautomated using the free version of CyberChair. We received 152 submissions, the largest number ever.Eachpaperwasassignedatleastthree,mostlyfour,andinafewcaseseven ?ve committee members for review. All of the papers were reviewed in a t- monthperiod,duringwhichtheprogramchairsregularlymonitoredtheprogress of the review process. When reviewers claimed inadequate expertise, additional reviewers were solicited. In the end, we received a total of 594 reviews (3.9 per paper) from committee members as well as 248 coreviewers whose names are acknowledged in the proceedings. We would like to thank all of them for their time and e?ort in providing us with such timely and high-quality reviews, some of them on extremely short notice.

Future Information Technology

Modelling and Controlling of Behaviour for Autonomous Mobile Robots
As research progresses, it enables multi-robot systems to be used in more and more complex and dynamic scenarios. Hence, the question arises how different modelling and reasoning paradigms can be utilised to describe the intended behaviour of a team and execute it in a robust and adaptive manner. Hendrik Skubch presents a solution, ALICA (A Language for Interactive Cooperative Agents) which combines modelling techniques drawn from different paradigms in an integrative fashion. Hierarchies of finite state machines are used to structure the behaviour of the team such that temporal and causal relationships can be expressed. Utility functions weigh different options against each other and assign agents to different tasks. Finally, non-linear constraint satisfaction and optimisation problems are integrated, allowing for complex cooperative behaviour to be specified in a concise, theoretically well-founded manner.

Analysis and Design of Delayed Genetic Regulatory Networks
This book offers an essential introduction to the latest advances in delayed genetic regulatory networks (GRNs) and presents cutting-edge work on the analysis and design of delayed GRNs in which the system parameters are subject to uncertain, stochastic and/or parameter-varying changes. Specifically, the types examined include delayed switching GRNs, delayed stochastic GRNs, delayed reaction–diffusion GRNs, delayed discrete-time GRNs, etc. In addition, the solvability of stability analysis, control and estimation problems involving delayed GRNs are addressed in terms of linear matrix inequality or M-matrix tests.
