Mereka giat menebar janji bahwa kebebasan bisa diperjualbelikan bahkan di sebuah benteng antikorupsi. Bermodal info sahih hasil penyidikan, mereka menawarkan bantuan bertarif hingga Rp 20 miliar. Dari satu kasus korupsi di PLN muncul sejumlah nama: dua pemain kakap, beberapa aktivis organisasi yang berafiliasi dengan lingkaran Istana, juga putra seorang petinggi lembaga itu. Modus permainan diatur dengan mengalirkan dana ke “orang dalam di kantor Komisi”-yang dibarter dengan pemindahan tahanan. Lapis pengamanan kasus di KPK, kita tahu, amatlah ketat. Tapi, mengutip seorang petinggi lembaga itu, “mafia adalah orang pintar”.
