This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Fifth International Conference on Service-Oriented Computing, ICSOC 2007. The 30 revised full papers and 14 short papers are organized in topical sections on service deployment, business process design, service discovery, quality of service support, testing and validation, service assembly, service properties, service modeling, SOA composition/experience/runtime/governance and QoS and composite service support.
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 15 IFIP International Conference on Testing of Communicating Systems, TestCom 2003, held in Sophia Antipolis, France in May 2003. The 19 revised full papers presented together with three invited contributions were carefully reviewed and selected from 53 submissions. The papers are organized in topical section on next generation networks, IP and UMTS; TTCN-3; automata-based test methodology; and test design, tools, and methodology.
This volume contains the proceedings of the 16th IFIP TC6/WG6.1 Inter- tional Conference on Testing of Communicating Systems (TestCom 2004). This conference was held at St Anne's College, Oxford, UK, from March 17 to March 19, 2004. TestCom 2004 was the sixteenth in a series of IFIP-sponsored events that started in 1988. The previous events were held in Vancouver, Canada (1988); B- lin, Germany (1989); McLean, USA (1990); Leidschendam, Netherlands (1991); Montreal, Canada (1992); Pau, France (1993); Tokyo, Japan (1994); Evry, France (1995); Darmstadt, Germany (1996); Cheju Island, Korea (1997); Tomsk, R- sia (1998); Budapest, Hungary (1999); Ottawa, Canada (2000); Berlin, Germany (2002); and Sophia Antipolis, France (2003). TestCom was not held in 2001 since at this point the conference moved from autumn to spring. TestCom 2004 was organized by Brunel University, UK and LSR-IMAG, France and was sponsored by IFIP. Support was also provided by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). We are grateful to the keynote speaker, Prof. Sir Tony Hoare, FRS, and our invited speakers for agreeing to address TestCom 2004.
Ecosystems can be considered as dynamic and interactive clusters made up of plants, animals and micro-organism communities. Inevitably, mankind is an integral part of each ecosystem and as such enjoys all its provided benefits. Driven by the increasing necessity to preserve the ecosystem productivity, several ecological studies have been conducted in the last few years, highlighting the current state in which our planet is, and focusing on future perspectives. This book systematically assesses the risk of 21 major infectious diseases threatening BRI countries. It consists of 14 chapters. Chapter 1 is an overview. Chapter 2 introduces the history of health cooperation between China and other BRI countries. Chapters 3-14 introduce the prevalence of major infectious diseases threatening BRI countries such as cholera, vaccine preventable diseases (polio, measles, meningitis, Japanese encephalitis, diphtheria, hepatitis A), tuberculosis, influenza, and insect-borne diseases (Dengue fever, Zika virus disease, yellow fever, Chikungunya, Rift Valley fever), plague, malaria, Ebola virus disease, MERS, schistosomiasis, COVID-19 and AIDS, and risk factors, principles and cases of their prevention and control. It is a useful reference book in the research of infectious disease control and prevention, and provides historical experience and lessons learned. It also provides decision support for international cooperation among BRI countries in the field of epidemic prevention and control in the future.
