Konsep yang dihasilkan salah satu perumusan persidangan para lokakarya tersebut di atas tidak dimaksudkan untuk membatasi keluasaan aspek yang terkandung di dalamnya. Dalam melakukan kajian mengenai tradisi lisan atau mengenai apa yang sudah didengar dan ditontonnya, seorang peneliti akan menghadapi berbagai kendala metodologis.
