Hopefully you dear reader will understand that I believe in equality for everyone. Although I'm blind I don't think of it as a deterrent, rather a pain in the, oh well you know what I mean. As many characters in my books, Jolene is based on a real person. In fact she was a very wonderful girl friend at one time. However we mustn't allow my sweet wife to know of the past. Oh well she already knows never mind. Jolene is a brilliant lawyer and turns out to be quite resourceful. She thinks she's not pretty but is. She is very modest as are many like her. She over comes disability with determination. This is one way of dealing with life's difficulties and can be satisfyingly successful. My old friend who Jolene is based on, is a registered nurse with three kids two dogs one cat and a husband. Please give my book a read and you too will come to admire this very interesting woman. The Jones Files - Book One

Adam Jones is a character who pretends to be rough and tough, however is not; he is like the man I would like to be. He has special abilities as does his very large dog Jack. Jonesy owned a farm in Nebraska and did everything he could to live a peaceful life. His life was changed when two armed and phony government types came to his farm and kidnapped him. After being relocated in the Northwest Jack and Jones found themselves in a life of ever changing ventures that will keep the reader on the edge of thrilling curiosity. In the midst of these changes, Jonesy finds romance and falls in love with the boss lady. Rose and Jones share love, thrills, danger, unbelievable happenings, and just plain fun. The other characters in the story add more excitements, love, human drama and even more fun. This book will make you laugh, cry, hate the bad guys, and the way Adam Jones introduces one exciting event after another will command your attention from beginning to end.

This book is packed full of action involving people who are mostly ordinary folks who get into trouble without trying. The main characters are close like family but are mostly not. They have to constantly try and do the seemingly impossible. One of the main characters is a very large black dog who has some interesting abilities. There are bad guys who cause the story to have interesting and unexpected twist, with dramatic outcomes that the reader doesn't look for.

Barbra is an interesting and revealing story that will make you laugh and cry and sometimes all in the same chapter. I visited Jamaica once and this story is based on the people I met there and enjoyed knowing very much. Barbra is a wild and wooly character that you will fall in love with, she's everything Jamaican and fun loving and lives her life to the fullest. Her adventures will keep you wanting to know more and more about her. She does things in her own way and even though she's very tenacious she's loveable and delightful. She has talents that can only belong to a girl from Jamaica. She learned to fish from her father back home and uses those talents to make her living. Barbra is one of my favorite characters in all of my series of The Jones Files. A. C. Jones

Martian Jones

"But it's not nowhere""it's our Mars." Adam Jones hits the ground with a jarring thud. He springs to his feet and peers back along the country road down which he has sped. The black van with the dark windows is still coming on. Adam scoops up his bike and flees for the safety of his house. What a crazy last day of school: first that rumor about NASA discovering a strange structure on Mars and now this van! But these events are merely the thinning of a mist that has confused Adam's understanding of his family. A wind is coming that will sweep away his petty dissatisfactions and launch him on a life-changing journey. Later that evening, Adam is stunned to learn his family is hiding a great sec...

Why Does God Allow Evil?

"If you are looking for one book to make sense of the problem of evil, this book is for you." Sean McDowell Grasping This Truth Will Change Your View of God Forever If God is good and all-powerful, why doesn't He put a stop to the evil in this world? Christians and non-Christians alike struggle with the concept of a loving God who allows widespread suffering in this life and never-ending punishment in hell. We wrestle with questions such as... Why do bad things happen to good people? Why should we have to pay for Adam's sin? How can eternal judgment be fair? But what if the real problem doesn't start with God...but with us? Clay Jones, an associate professor of Christian apologetics at Biola University, examines what Scripture truly says about the nature of evil and why God allows it. Along the way, he'll help you discover the contrasting abundance of God's grace, the overwhelming joy of heaven, and the extraordinary destiny of believers.

This book is the first detailed examination of these four authors as part of a Roman Catholic, counter-modern community of discourse. It is informed by extensive research in the writers' works, scholarship on them, and their personal papers.
