A Cuban family flees communism in 1961, and their only daughter must live with their legacy of drugs, jail, and death. This is the story of Gloria Restoy; she grew up in Miami, Florida, in the era of the cocaine cowboys. Amidst a chaotic time of kidnappings and police raids, Gloria was searching for meaning and identity. As the story unravels, there are twists and turns of psychological and emotional abuse, and dark paths leading to satanic worship. The woman you are going to meet in this story fought for her life, giants of addiction and depression wanted to steal her destiny, and voices of insanity would deter her down paths of self-destruction that almost stole her life. By the grace of God, Gloria won the battles and lived to tell her story of hope, giving testimony of how God saved her life from ruins. This is a story conceived in the heart of God. Today, Gloria is a Certified Christian Life Coach, a chaplain, a teacher, and a leader at her church. Gloria teaches people how to listen to the voice of God. Her biggest joy is working with girls who have been rescued from sexual slavery. This book will help you to: Reconcile with God Recognize your value Re-ignite your dreams
Two dozen Christian higher education professionals thoroughly explore the question of the faith's place on the university campus, whether in administrative matters, the broader academic world, or in student life.
Eric was just a regular guy. He'd had ups and downs in life and spirituality. Flawed but not so much that you'd know it from the outside. The obvious cracks in his armor-single, divorced dad, living with his fiancée-were low-hanging fruit, and of course they didn't look great. His family and friends know him as a man that had been brought up in church though and knew who God was. Even though his life had taken twists and turns to and from his faith, he'd always held on to his core beliefs. On a cold night in November, he found himself in the company of a mixed group of strangers and in the unenviable position of explaining his life and faith (as twisted as both of those seemed to be) to their skeptical ears. Sit in on the improbable but captivating details of that night and how Eric ended up in that home on the north side of Chicago.
Witness the power of prayer right before your eyes. As a young black male walking in the world, being deceived and deprived from his true identity, this young male was born poor in the city of Chicago, providing for his needs being a mid-time drug dealer which brought him bad friendships, many enemies, and broken relationships. Because of the philosophy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, which is not spoken as its written in the Bible, he turns to the creator for clarity in his spirit. And he found the treasure of life for all humanity. But the lustfulness for the world through his free will was a battle within. But through all the obstacles and difficulties, we will see that it really takes a village to raise a child. And that child has to overcome the world, becoming a man with the deepest purpose of life. He has fallen to the Earth to bring the truth in hidden messages in the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ from the kingdom of heaven onto the earth, for all of the Heavenly Father and stars of the world.
I, Carl Harden, have had many amazing angelic encounters, and it seems only appropriate and logical for this book to be titled Heaven's Angels. Carl's angelic encounters are quite extensive, from a silent nod of approval, to physical contacts and ultimately to verbal expressions and playful antics. It is a rare occurrence for a single miracle to happen, but when several happen to the same person, it becomes an o-rama. Heaven's Angels seems to be the most appropriate description for the many angelic encounters described in this book. My many encounters have to be brought before the public at large. A true tale of such a magnitude should reach out to the entire world. I hope the naysayers will take note and come to see the true nature of the angels. Angels are real.
As I was writing this book, I began to see some sad moments in my story. One being when I talked to the bishop that Tuesday about what I was going through. He told me to come to church on Sunday. We are talking five days later. My heart breaks knowing that he was having a service later that night and again on Friday. I told him with tears pouring down my face that something evil had entered into my body and that I needed an exorcism to get it out. For all bishops, pastors, and ministers reading this book, when someone calls you for "help," please don't put them off because you have a program to follow. God sent them to you for a reason. I was going through spiritual warfare, and I knew I nee...
