Mata kuliah Teknik Pembentukan Logam berisi penjelasan perkembangan teknologi pembentukan logam, prinsip-prinsip dasar teori plastisitas dan penerapannya dalam proses pembentukan logam, dan analisis tegangan untuk keperluan pemodelannya dengan menggunakan simulasi yang akurat dan efisien. Capaian Pembelajaran yang akan dicapai meliputi penguasaan mahasiswa dalam: – Mengevaluasi perkembangan teknologi pembentukan logam. – Merumuskan konversi formula tegangan–regangan – Membuat kurva tegangan regangan engineering dan sebenarnya. – Menganalisis besar dan arah tegangan dan regangan yang terjadi pada proses pembentukan logam. – Membandingkan mekanisme proses deformasi pada uji tarik, plane stress dan triaxial stress. – Menyusun forming limit diagram.
