ICILS 2020
This book reflects and intimate discusses various topics and issues concerning to legal studies and its development in Indonesia and Global perspective. This book is dedicated to all legal practitioners and scholars around the world that have been presented their best works and ideas in the 3rd ICILS International Conference, 2020, held by Faculty of Law Universitas Negeri Semarang, Indonesia in July 2020 by Online Conference System. The 66 full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 105 submission. The paper reflects the conference sessions as follow: Law and Technology, Private and Commercial Law, Law and Politics, Public Law, Comparative Law, and other related issues on legal development, including Law Tech and Human Behavior. The 3rd ICILS International Conference 2020 also co-hosted by Jayabaya University, Jakarta and University of Muhammadiyah Malang.

CELL 2019
The 1st International Conference On Culture, Education, Linguistics, and Literature (CELL) Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Jenderal Soedirman University). Activists in Transition
Activists in Transition examines the relationship between social movements and democratization in Indonesia. Collectively, progressive social movements have played a critical role over in ensuring that different groups of citizens can engage directly in—and benefit from—the political process in a way that was not possible under authoritarianism. However, their individual roles have been different, with some playing a decisive role in the destabilization of the regime and others serving as bell-weathers of the advancement, or otherwise, of Indonesia's democracy in the decades since. Equally important, democratization has affected social movements differently depending on the form taken by each movement during the New Order period. The book assesses the contribution that nine progressive social movements have made to the democratization of Indonesia since the late 1980s, and how, in turn, each of those movements has been influenced by democratization.

ILMU NEGARA (Teori Klasik dan Kekinian)
Di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, istilah negara tentunya sudah tidak asing lagi di telinga kita. Negara merupakan suatu konsep tatanan sosial yang terwujud dalam wilayah tertentu dan memiliki sebuah sistem atau aturan, yang berlaku bagi semua individu di wilayah tersebut. Agar tujuan ini tercapai, negara menetapkan batasan-batasan yang dituangkan dalam bentuk aturan dan hukum. Setiap negara memiliki bentuk-bentuk aturan dan hukumnya sendiri, sesuai dengan kondisi masyarakatnya. Secara etimologi, negara berasal dari bahasa sansekerta nagara, yang berarti kota. Istilah ini sebetulnya mempunyai padanan kata yang bermacam-macam. Dalam bahasa Inggris, negara disebut dengan istilah state, sedangkan bahasa Jerman staat, dan bahasa Perancis etaat.
