Bread Sex Trees

Bread Sex Trees is a poetic invocation, a call to the dreamers, the visionaries, the alchemists, to those who live in rhythm with the seasons and the land, those who are healing, and for everyone who is reclaiming their creative power. From Alix Klingenberg, a popular creator and poet, this collection offers wisdom, beauty, and a road map to self-love that doesn’t bypass life’s inevitable challenges.

The Hermit archetype can get kind of a bad wrap in our culture of productivity and success, but the Hermit is about retreating into the depths and wisdom of our inner lives, in order to come back out with gained wisdom, rest, and a replenished spirit. This collection is full of messages I've collected over the past few years from my interior travels. They are poems and visions of rest, hope, grief, self love, and acceptance. This is a book that encourages the radical act of doing nothing of consequence for a bit in order to alchemize and integrate our experiences. Hermit Season is not an escape from the world, but rather, a necessary stop on the way back to it.

Tidal Pools and Other Small Infinities

"You'll walk away with more gratitude for the slow burn of the healing process." — Alicia Cook, author of Sorry I Haven’t Texted You Back Tidal Pools and Other Small Infinities blurs the lines between endings and beginnings. The love story starts in the usual way: a whirlwind of confessions, late night conversations, and promises that seem sturdy. The years pass by, and novelty is replaced by a comforting routine – one that’s difficult to walk away from when things take a toxic turn. This is a collection about bravery and evolution. It takes courage to leave behind the familiar. To question all the things that once seemed undeniably true. To learn to stand on your own and, in doing so, become who you were really meant to be. Endings can be the best beginnings…once you realize you have the power to create them.

Persephone Made Me Do It

Bestselling and Goodreads Choice Award-winning author Trista Mateer returns with another mythical approach to self-care in her newest poetry collection, Persephone Made Me Do It. Following her previous work in this series, Mateer weaves together mythology, tarot, poetry, and conversation to reveal a new side of a very old story. Alternating between the perspectives of poet and goddess, Persephone’s lore is explored, related to modern issues, and ultimately reclaimed. “You want to talk about duality? You want to talk about love? Let us speak instead of chaos.” In this new collection of art and feminist verse from Trista Mateer, Persephone might have flowers in her hair—but she is out for blood. This is the third book in the Myth & Magick series, which also includes Aphrodite Made Me Do It and Artemis Made Me Do It.

For the wolven creatures and the feral den mothers. For the heartbroken dreamers reclaiming their voices, their time, their wholeness. For everyone who refuses to be tamed. For you, my gently rebellious seekers, my fiercely sensitive kin, I offer you a piece of my heart: "Secrets & Stars" is the debut poetry collection of poet, photographer, and spiritual director, Alix Klingenberg. Playing with archetype and myth, this book explores a return to wholeness, a rejection of fractured existence, and a claiming of the entire self as beloved, sacred, and divine. With roots in earth-centered spirituality, the elements of nature, wilderness, and cycles permeate this volume that manages to illuminate, in a truly intimate way, the struggles of a poet coming into her own voice.

The fourth in a series covering Internet TV, this book takes a comprehensive look at 1,121 comedy series produced exclusively for online audiences. Alphabetical entries provide websites, dates, casts, credits, episode lists and storylines.

Doubles and Hybrids in Latin American Gothic

Doubles and Hybrids in Latin American Gothic focuses on a recurrent motif that is fundamental in the Gothic—the double. This volume explores how this ancient notion acquires tremendous force in a region, Latin America, which is itself defined by duplicity (indigenous/European, autochthonous religions/Catholic). Despite this duplicity and at the same time because of it, this region has also generated "mestizaje," or forms resulting from racial mixing and hybridity. This collection, then, aims to contribute to the current discussion about the Gothic in Latin America by examining the doubles and hybrid forms that result from the violent yet culturally fertile process of colonization that took place in the area.
