The two-volume set LNCS 8618 and 8619 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 9th International Conference EuroHaptics 2014, held in Versailles, France, in June 2014. The 118 papers (36 oral presentations and 82 poster presentations) presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 183 submissions. This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the 4th International Computer Music Modeling and Retrieval Symposium, CMMR 2007, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, in August 2007 jointly with the International Computer Music Conference 2007, ICMC 2007. The 33 revised full papers presented were carefully selected during two rounds of reviewing and improvement. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the area, the papers address a broad variety of topics in computer science and engineering areas such as information retrieval, programming, human computer interaction, digital libraries, hypermedia, artificial intelligence, acoustics, signal processing, etc. CMMR 2007 has put special focus on the Sense of Sounds from the synthesis and retrieval point of view. This theme is pluridisciplinary by nature and associates the fields of sound modeling by analysis, synthesis, perception and cognition.

Design Thinking and other agile methods are firmly established frameworks in innovation and project management for teams, and many studies deal with their use in companies. Solo-Entre-preneurs as the quasi smallest possible unit of a company are seldom in view when applying these ideas. Their situation also differs significantly from that of larger corporate entities, as evidenced, for example, by the fact that personal challenges can also affect general economic success much more quickly. This master thesis used a qualitative method mix of qualitative interviews, feedback grids and, most importantly, practical workshops based on the Design-based research approach to investigate the extent to which the use of agile methods is beneficial and meaningful in addressing business cases of Solo-Entrepreneurs.
