Greed and world wide civil unrest are a serious thread. They have become stagnant; locked in a fossilized tradition, unwilling to change. A volcanic eruption created by the human spirit is what the world needs to realize its spiritual heritage and potential.

A story about the will? Doesn't sound particularly exciting or extraordinary. Maybe not. Depends on what a person goes through to discover their will. I see. You mean a will to live? Yes. And that's what American Loser is about? Primarily, yes. About discovering how powerful a person's will can be. That's certainly more interesting. Who might read such a story? Someone who's been in pain; who's questioned their own existence and considered maybe not being around tomorrow. Anyone else who might like this story? People amused by extreme behavior: sexual oddity and odysseys, drug use, and other absurdities that arise from passionate living.

What you are about to view did not begin with the intention of producing a book. It began as a hobby of personal enjoyment coupled with an iPhone. I often observed artwork on passing trains and began my collection of photographs. I realized that others might enjoy seeing them as well. I wonder about the artists—who’s transient hands rendered these works, where and when? Were they free spirits riding the freight trains, who had the time at passing stops? Some are obviously very talented and expressed themselves through this unique rolling venue and art form—a true piece of Americana. Enjoy!

Captured Thoughts
Captured Thoughts is just what the title claims. The book reflects passing thoughts that have been turned into poetry the moment they were conceived before they were forgotten. No matter what time the thought may have occurred it was promptly captured, as I like to call it, and turned into poetry. I have been known to jump out of bed at three or four in the morning to write these thoughts down. My thoughts, which is where my poetry originates (as evident in the title of the book), are always evolving. My poetry is a way of exploring those thoughts. These thoughts for the most part are mainly poems about overcoming hardships and obstacles in life, and turning stumbling blocks into stepping stones.
