Lifestyle disease is a global phenomenon that has grown rapidly due to the increase in urbanization and globalization. It has led to a massive change in the way people live. Considering this fact, the present book explores the healthcare utilization and economic rden of the lifestyle disease. It was reported that health utilization was very low and majority of the people preferred to utilize public hospitals. It was demonstrated that lifestyle disease posed a sizeable economic burden on the household. The study suggested the need to organize awareness campaign to curtail its encumbrance. There is a need to make modifications in the life style in order to reduce its economic implications.

This book builds upon Stephen J Ball's previous work in the field of education policy analysis. It subjects the ongoing reforms in UK education to a rigorous critical interrogation. It takes as its main concerns the introduction of market forces, managerialism and the National Curriculum into the organization of schools and the work of teachers. Ball argues that these reforms are combining to fundamentally reconstruct the work of teaching, to generate and ramify multiple inequalities and to destroy civic virtue in education.
