The Clymer Clan
The immigrant ancestor, John Clymer (1641-1684), was born in Worcestershire, England and died in Talbot Co., Maryland. John and his brother, Simon, came from England to Talbot Co., Md. about 1665. John Clymer had at least one son, Charles (1679-1725), who was born in Queen Annes Co., Md. Only John Clymer's second wife is known. She was Ann Ennis Stevenson, a widow of Phillip Stevenson (d. 1679). After John's death in 1684 Ann went back to England where she died in 1690. Descendants live in Illinois, Kentucky and elsewhere.
