- Both a photography book and an art catalog, chronicling the redesign of an Italian villa from scratch - Anthony Foster is a gallery owner and expert on carpets, textiles, and interior design Anthony Foster receives an invite from a dear friend, a horse lover (and for this reason a "knight") to re-design, decorate and buy artworks for a "shelter", a villa, starting the job from scratch. For Anthony Foster, the task provides an opportunity to work in complete freedom, having a dialogue with the linguistic variety of our times, free from any obligation with respect to periods and genres. The result is a structured space, which is at the same time eccentric and fluid, characterized by a clear ...

1770-1790 Census of the Cumberland Settlements

The earliest surviving federal enumerations of the Tennessee Country consist of the 1810 census of Rutherford County and an incomplete 1820 census. But since the first settlers arrived at the French Lick as early as 1779, the first forty years of settlement in the area we now call Tennessee are a blank, at least in the official enumerations. This work is an attempt to reconstruct a census of the Cumberland River settlements in Davidson, Sumner, and Tennessee counties, which today comprise all or part of forty Tennessee counties. To this end, Mr. Fulcher has abstracted from the public records all references to those living in the jurisdictions between 1770 and 1790. From wills, deeds, court minutes, marriage records, military records, and many related items, the author has put together a carefully documented list of inhabitants--virtually the "first" census of Tennessee.

Hell on the Way to Heaven

Chrissie and Anthony Foster were like any other young family, raising their three daughters in suburban Melbourne with what they hoped were the right values. Chrissie could not have known that the stranger-danger she feared actually lurked in the presbytery attached to the girls' Catholic primary school. Father Kevin O'Donnell, a long-term paedophile, lived and worked there. Two of their young daughters became victims of O'Donnell. And once the truth was revealed, the Fosters began a battle to find out how this could have happened. The Church offered silence, lies, denials and threats. Meanwhile, their daughters tried to piece together their fractured lives. This is the chilling true story that made national and international headlines. Chrissie Foster's heartbreaking account of her family's suffering, and their determination to stand up for themselves against the might of the Catholic Church, is testament to the strength of a mother's love, and the resilience of the human spirit.

This book is for those who can relate to these personal issues as well as those who want to get an understanding of what life is like for someone suffering with these afflictions. If you are someone who suffers with the inability to cope with life due to these issues or just someone who wants to get to...
