Listening with My Eyes
A true story about how a formerly abused horse taught me non verbal communication (body language) which I used with my mother, who suffered from Alzheimer's disease and lost her ability to speak. Our interactions were much richer for the four years we had before she died plus this learning helped greatly with the challenges of being a caregiver.
