Śivagrha: Babon Teologi Hindu Nusantara
Candi Prambanan merupakan kompleks kuil Hindu yang memiliki nama asli Śivagṛha atau Śivalaya-rumah Śiva atau istana Śiva, sebagai tempat berstana di bumi. Prambanan sendiri berasal dari kata sanskerta ‘parambrahma(n)’, yang berarti ‘Roh Jagat’, ‘Yang Mutlak’, dan merujuk pada sebuah tempat peribadatan umum, yang boleh digunakan baik oleh kaum Śaiva maupun Buddhis. Prambanan sebagai sebuah kompleks kuil Hindu-Hindu Masterpiece, dibangun dengan menggunakan konsep Vāstupuruṣamaṇḍala yakni konsep pembangunan yang dirancang secara cermat guna menghadirkan Devata sebagai pusat mandala di bumi. Sejak candi agung tersebut dibangun (diperkirakan 750 — 860 M) telah memberikan cahaya bagi Nusantara bahkan dunia. Walau sempat meredup, kini Candi Prambanan kembali menjadi pusat peribadan Hindu dunia. Prambanan merupakan Babon Teologi Hindu di Nusantara. Kuil Prambanan mengagungkan tiga Dewa- Trimūrti yakni Brahmā, Viṣṇu dan Śiva. Juga menyatukan Dewa-Dewi dalam sebuah pusat pemujaan yang penuh harmonis. Selama lebih dari dua belas abad, Prambanan telah menjadi mandala energi, pusat spiritual, yatra maupun pusat studi peradaban Hindu di Nusantara.
ŚIVA TRIŚIRAH DIENG: Teologi, Pemujaan dan Budaya Hindu di Tanah Para Dewa
Śiva Triśirah-merupakan temuan yang menakjudkan, yang tak disangka sebelumnya bahwa arca kuno nan berwibawa itu ada di bumi Nusantara. Arca Śiva Triśirah sangat langka keberadaanya di dunia dan terindentifikasi merupakan sistem pemujaan yang sangat kuno di bumi. The Bungalow in Twentieth-Century India
The primary era of this study - the twentieth century - symbolizes the peak of the colonial rule and its total decline, as well as the rise of the new nation state of India. The processes that have been labeled 'westernization' and 'modernization' radically changed middle-class Indian life during the century. This book describes and explains the various technological, political and social developments that shaped one building type - the bungalow - contemporaneous to the development of modern Indian history during the period of British rule and its subsequent aftermath. Drawing on their own physical and photographic documentation, and building on previous work by Anthony King and the Desais, the authors show the evolution of the bungalow's architecture from a one storey building with a verandah to the assortment of house-forms and their regional variants that are derived from the bungalow. Moreover, the study correlates changes in society with architectural consequences in the plans and aesthetics of the bungalow. It also examines more generally what it meant to be modern in Indian society as the twentieth century evolved.
