It has both complementedand supplemented our official histories on Marine operations in Vietnam . Since it spublication in 1974, however, events in Vietnam and the appearance of additional significant articlesin the three periodicals have made both the anthology and bibliography somewhat dated . Thisexpanded edition extends the coverage of the anthology to 1975 and the entries in the bibliograph yto 1984 .
