Mike Noble leads with his heart. It belonged to Lou Ann until she was killed in a highway crash. He cant give her up. Mike is a graduate professor and vice president at Great Rivers University (GRU). Students are his escape from his grief. One of Mikes students, Lynn Bosen, looks the part of a beautiful university junior that she is, but her beauty and her body belie her age. There is a big place in her heart for Mike. Security Director Bob Bear Drummer telephones Noble in the night to tell him that Lynn, in her half-time security role, has found the seminude body of a petite girl encased in four black plastic bags. Bob has a big heart. Those who love him most, fear it may betray him. Lynn, Mike, and Bob are brought together by the first of incidents that take the lives of more coeds. In a unique combination of events, they will all be involved in solving the murders.

LYNNS JOURNAL THE THIRD BOOK IN A TRILOGY Lynn Bosen grew up in a trailer park. Her father abused her until he died when Lynn was nine years old. Her mother was a recluse, showing little interest or affection for Lynn. Lynn grew up with three survival qualities. She could run like the wind, she had a powerful mind, and she had a beautiful body. Boys and men were drawn to her. Lynn is now Lynn Bosen Noble. Her husband, Mike Noble, is a graduate professor and vice president of Great Rivers University (GRU). Mike Noble has studied in diverse academic fields including studies of writing and healing. In Stem: Cells That Divide, Lynn was left for dead in an explosion meant to kill her and to destroy the Stem Cell Laboratory on the campus of GRU. She survived and Mike encouraged her to write of her life in a journal, thus, Lynns Journal. Lynn takes on the task with little enthusiasm; however, she addresses the challenge and she enjoys the process. You will respect her courage and her survival skills. She has trepidation about sharing it with Mike. This is her unexpurgated journal, or as some are wont to say, warts and all. Enjoy!

There are those who will do anything to stop the embryonic stem cell research. They say they are doing Gods work. Could be, or is there a hidden truth? Anti-stem cell demonstrators occupy the Free Forum area across from Mikes office. They plague him, but that, too, is not the whole truth. Is there a connection between Mike and their leader, and does a connection emerge between Mike and the woman he thinks of as Eyes? The truth of the promise of stem cells may have to wait.
