I had no idea what kind of year 2016 was going to be. Tragedies were rampant, violence was prevalent, division and hatred seemed to be at a level I had not experienced in my lifetime. At the outset, I was hoping that a spiritual journey would help me learn more about God's spirit and the world He created, but every day the world seemed to throw questions at me faster than I could find answers.
