In order to combat tax fraud, the German government on a federal and state level cooperates with informers, mostly former bank employees, to buy facts about German taxpayers with bank accounts in foreign countries. This study explains why the informer commits an offence by getting and selling these secret facts. Based on these results the study shows that the German office-bearers involved in the "deal" made themselves liable to prosecution according to German law by buying the facts and using them for tax purposes. There is no justification for these crimes. The study comes to the conclusion that the German government itself violates criminal laws while fighting tax evasion.

Tropentag 2022 – International Research on Food Security, Natural Resource Management and Rural Development
Tropentag is the largest interdisciplinary conference in Europe, focused on developmentoriented research in the fields of tropical and subtropical agriculture, food security, natural resource management and rural development. Tropentag takes place annually, even though the past two years were particularly challenging, while the conference had to be organised as an online only event. One of the lessons that we learnt from the virtual conferences is that yes, it is possible to organise it that way, but that it is much better to meet and talk in person. We are thus very happy that this year (two years after what was initially planned), we are able to organise the Tropentag 2022 conference at the campus of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, Czech Republic, and thrilled that we will again meet all face-to-face, during the 14-16 September venue. However, some of you, due to various reasons, who could not come to Prague, you can still participate at this year Tropentag, as all plenary and oral scientific sessions are streamed via the Whova platform, and we also organise several online poster sessions.

"This is the third volume of the German Immigrants series (see also Items 6580, 6581, and 6583), this one listing passengers from Bremen to New York between 1863 and September 1867. Owing to the total destruction of the original Bremen passenger lists, this volume, like the others, is the only practical means of discovering information on thousands of individuals for whom immigrant origin data was thought to be irretrievably lost. In effect, it is a partial reconstruction of the Bremen records, based on official passenger lists and manifests in the custody of the National Archives. It is, therefore, a record of arrivals rather than departures, and it is the closest we are ever likely to come to duplicating information in the lost Bremen records"--Publisher website (December 2007).

Nesta atualizada obra sobre São Leopoldo, os escritores Felipe Kuhn Braun e Sandro Blume contemplam fatos inéditos ou pouco registrados sobre a cidade, até os dias de hoje.
