The introductory text covers the sheet music publishing business of the time and describes how the music messages often paralleled Woodrow Wilson’s policies. Nearly 10,000 songs are included with complete bibliographical data: title, authors of the lyrics and music when available, value based on auction prices and collector knowledge, publisher, folio size and cover description. Each entry in the catalog is assigned a letter and number for easy identification in the indexes.
