The Price of Pleasure

Kresley Cole returns with a breathtaking romantic saga of love, honor, and passion unbound -- as a man of duty faces his greatest trial, and a young castaway discovers her greatest desire.... A man noted for his courage and integrity, Captain Grant Sutherland journeys to Oceania to find Victoria Dearbourne, an English girl lost at sea a decade before. He's given her ailing grandfather his word -- as a gentleman -- to find and protect her. But one look at a grown Victoria and Grant has never felt less like one. Tori relishes freedom, untamed passion, and spontaneity above stifling order. Even more so when a proud, cold British captain arrives to rescue her, though she has no wish to be. As Grant tries to convince her to leave her island home, she begins to see in him a man hungering for more. A man who once laughed. A man who desires her but won't take what she offers. Grant struggles to control his own savage passions -- and fails, Tori must decide what she wants more -- her unfettered independence or the only man who could tame her wild heart....

Once Upon A Kiss

“With not much else to be occupied with, having no movie theater, bowling alley, and only a weekly newspaper, it was the small farming community’s main entertainment, and then all for the most part supported the school. They looked forward to all the young people’s endeavors. There was always something going on, but the real and foremost interest was the games the boys played. Football in the fall, basketball in the winter, baseball in the spring. The young boys were likened to young lords while they played these games.” Excerpt from: Marlynn Groholske. “Once Upon a Kiss”

The Music Went 'round and Around

Spotting a trend in the early 1950s of staging summer theater in the round under tents, Clevelander John L. Price Jr. decided to give it a try. Price opened his Musicarnival in the summer of 1954 with a production of Oklahoma! His Venture was one of the last commercial legitimate theaters established in Cleveland. In its heyday, Musicarnival presented an average of eight to ten shows each summer, with the backbone of its repertoire consisting of such classics as Carousel; Kiss Me Kate; Wonderful Town; Fanny; Paint Your Wagon; and The Unsinkable Molly Brown.
