The Edward Hawes Heirs
Edward Hawes (ca. 1616-1687) was living at Dedham, Massachusetts, by 1648, where he married Eliony Lumber (ca. 1625-1688/9) that year. They had nine children, 1648/9-1666, all born at Dedham. Descendants lived lived in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, Maine, Vermont, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and elsewhere. Descendants also spell their surname Haws.

The Richard Hawes Genealogy
Richard Hawes was baptized 2 November 1606 in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, England. He married Ann in about 1632. They had seven children. They emigrated in 1635 and settled in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, North Carolina and Canada.
