Never Ever Say Yes

Prisoners of fate Are held captive by the chains of destiny Beautiful Lara Sopiton died in a Lagos cell and resurrected a few weeks later on the streets of London. But her ordeals have just begun. From London to Jerusalem, Venice, Rome, Zurich, Santo Domingo. She had to fight back against the likes of Gino Galvani - a smooth Italian operator who didn't know the difference between business and pleasure; and Eniola Bamisi - the multi-talented billionaire kingpin of an international syndicate whose vision is to lure young girls as gullible vectors to carry the cocaine campaign across the Atlantic. 'There's a high-level power game going on. A powerful baron and influential political figure is the great tempest turning the giant mill at a very volatile velocity. He is reputed to have houses across the waterfronts of Europe and recently honey-mooned young and beautiful Lara along the sharp edges of the asymmetrical folds of the Alps.'

You might as well accept the fact, that the devil is your enemy. He will do anything to make you miserable. He will even use your family members to do that, if he can. So understand that the devil does not care who he uses. He will use the people that are close to you, that knows you the best. He will use those people and really give it to you. Therefore, you must be watchful and keep and put on the full armor of God. You must acknowledge the fact that there are problems in the world. When it comes to problems, it is as simple as this understanding that: You are either one of the problems; that you have one; and or that you live with one.

The issue of tithing is a critical issue amongst believers. The first tithe payer in the Bible was Abraham. In Genesis 14:18-20, the scriptures says, "Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the Priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: "Blessed be Abram of the Most High, Possessor of Heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand". And he (Abraham) gave him (Melchizedek) tithe of all." The tithe was paid from the goods he gathered after the defeat of the four kings led by Chedorlaomer, king of Elam. This first recorded tithe payment was hundreds of years before Moses was born and by extension before the Law was given through Moses. From this we know that tithing Pre-dates the Law.

Yoruba Transcript: Dictionary

What is Yoruba Transcript? Simply put, the digital way to write in Yoruba, that is, without accents. In the 18th century, Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther's quest to translate the Holy Bible into Yoruba led to the creation of an orthography for Yoruba language. This thereafter resulted in the publication of the first Yoruba dictionary. Bishop Crowther found out during his compilation that some Yoruba phonetics were not represented by Latin alphabets, so he introduced tonal accents, which didn't make the language reader friendly. Transcript replaces accents with conventional alphabets to make Yoruba language conform to international standards. This has made Yoruba more reader friendly, more writer friendly and this has now given rise to Yoruba language 'renaissance'.A Sample Yoruba Proverb Adaba ough naanint ivell, Papar injonon, Eyyel okoul folaut. Also Included in the book is 15,000 words Dictionary of Yoruba Language and hundreds of Yoruba proverbs and niches.

Christianity Today 2013 Book Award Winner Winner of The Foundation for Pentecostal Scholarship's 2012 Award of Excellence 2011 Book of the Year, Christianbook.com's Academic Blog Most modern prejudice against biblical miracle reports depends on David Hume's argument that uniform human experience precluded miracles. Yet current research shows that human experience is far from uniform. In fact, hundreds of millions of people today claim to have experienced miracles. New Testament scholar Craig Keener argues that it is time to rethink Hume's argument in light of the contemporary evidence available to us. This wide-ranging and meticulously researched two-volume study presents the most thorough current defense of the credibility of the miracle reports in the Gospels and Acts. Drawing on claims from a range of global cultures and taking a multidisciplinary approach to the topic, Keener suggests that many miracle accounts throughout history and from contemporary times are best explained as genuine divine acts, lending credence to the biblical miracle reports.

Global Yorùbá

In Global Yorùbá, renowned scholar Toyin Falola covers the history, people, traditions, environment, religion, spirituality, cosmology, culture, and philosophy of one of Africa's largest cultural groups, the Yorùbá, all while considering the people's relationship with their immediate and distant neighbors. Falola examines how the Yorùbán people have adapted to their environment and tapped it to (re)invent their civilization, shape their culture and traditions, and inform their socioeconomic relations with their neighbors. These interactions have guided the Yorùbá philosophy that developed over time, expressing their conviction regarding society's evolution and the place that humans occupy within it. This web of knowledge can present a more coherent account than any other text yet produced regarding Yorùbá civilization. This volume demonstrates how global dynamics have been adopted in the creation of a Yorùbá community across different times and spaces.
