A Beginning of the End Part V of VIII in the series is about PI Simon Fintch. Simon Fintch goes through great personal grief, but his life changes completely when he gets his new assignment from the police in New York. It is unlike any previous case he has solved. Simon and his colleagues find themselves in many life-threatening situations, and not everyone survives this mission either. Simon still gets out of the many dangerous situations with his life intact and together with his boss, he finally succeeds in his difficult mission.
