Don collected the artifacts of Old West clothing-cowboy hats, high-heeled boots, vests, neckerchiefs, pistols, leather chaps, spurs, pocket watches, string ties, and sleeve garters-so he could participate in various reenactments in San Antonio...And his collection grew bigger and bigger and bigger until he had a garage full of period clothing and accoutrements from the 19th century.
