Software Composition
The goal of the International Conference on Software Composition is to advance the state of research on modularity and reuse in the context of software development based on components, services, features, or models. Software composition is becoming more and more important as innovation in software engineering shifts from the development of individual components to their reuse and recombination in novel ways. To this end, for the 2010 edition, researchers were solicited to contribute on topics such as component adaptation techniques, composition languages, modeling, as well as emerging composition techniques such as aspect-oriented programming, servi- oriented architectures, and mashups. In line with previous editions of SC, contri- tions were sought focusing on both theory and practice, with a particular interest in efforts relating them. This LNCS volume contains the proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Software Composition, which was held during July 1–2, 2010, as a collocated event of the TOOLS 2010 Federated Conferences, in Malaga, Spain.
Business Process Management
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Business Process Management, BPM 2011, held in Clermont-Ferrand, France, in August/September 2011. The 20 full research papers, 13 late breaking result papers, 15 poster papers, and 4 contributions to the PhD symposium presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 100 submissions. Moreover 3 tutorials and 3 workshops are presented. The papers focus on six research tracks, namely cross-media and mobile Web applications, HCI and the Web, Modelling and Engineering Web applications, quality aspects of Web applications, social Web applications, Web applications composition and mashups.
Software Engineering and Middleware
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the 4th International Workshop on Software Engineering and Middleware, SEM 2004, held in Linz, Austria, in September 2004. The 16 revised full papers presented went through two rounds of reviewing and improvement and were selected from 44 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on middleware services, ubiquitous computing, performance and QoS, and building distributed applications.
