Ce volume présente l'exposition d'Eva Marisaldi (Bologne, 1966), conçue pour la Casa Goldoni à l'occasion de la 60e Biennale d'art de Venise. Partant de son aptitude à la réflexion et à l'analyse de son environnement, Eva Marisaldi crée des micro-narrations où les analogies et les contrastes l'emportent sur l'essentialité du récit. À travers une variété articulée de modes d'expression - installation, plastique, graphisme, vidéo - le projet met en dialogue le parcours de l'auteur vénitien Carlo Goldoni avec celui de l'artiste, permettant ainsi l'émergence d'une série d'affinités opérationnelles et intellectuelles surprenantes entre les deux interprètes. La publication rassemble une série d'œuvres originales, différentes par leur technique et leur typologie, mais unies par une source d'inspiration commune : l'auteur dont l'institution muséale porte le nom et son activité dans le domaine du théâtre, ainsi que dans le monde de la performance et de la représentation scénique en général.
