Charles Evans Keyes (1852-1910), son of George Everett Keyes and Joanna White Evans, both originally of Ohio, was born at Linn Co., Iowa, and died at Mankato, Kansas. He married Hester (Hettie) Britt Wright (ca. 1860-1924) in 1886 at Mankato, Ks. She was born at Baltimore, Maryland. They were parents of six children all born at Mankato, Ks. Descendants live in Kansas, Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Massachusetts and elsewhere.
