The level of quality that food maintains as it travels down the production-to-consumption path is largely determined by the chemical, biochemical, physical, and microbiological changes that take place during its processing and storage. Authored by an internationally respected food quality expert, Kinetic Modeling of Reactions in Foods demonstrates
An uninhibited view and look at the current world as it relates to the Catholic Church, America and the whole world. Our Lady of Fatima's message points to an unbelievable climax of world events in less than ten years. Our Lady of Fatima foretells of the demise and destruction of America, of the failure of the leaders of the Catholic Church and especially of the Pope. In this book, I take you through a high level over view of how Our Lady of Fatima is connected to our Lady of Guadalupe and how the Third Part of the Secret of Fatima was never going to be released. The shocking conclusion of this book is not for the faint at heart that live in North America.
We are living in a complicated period in relation to our understanding of 'extraordinary' phenomena. Naive materialist approaches are more assertive than ever, in anthropology and in the world more generally. At the same time, the taboos against admitting to the reality of the paranormal are weakening. There is a growing body of writing which takes the paranormal and extraordinary seriously, while bringing to it the same academic standards that any other subject matter would require. This is a valuable and important development, and it helps open the way to new modes of understanding in the sciences and social sciences that will not reject scientific rationality, but expand that rationality so as to include more of the world of human experience. The articles in this Paranthropology reader provide important clues and suggestions, along with rigorous argument, to help us in exploring what is likely to be a major area of anthropological engagement in coming years. Analysing the photos taken on 17 October 1917 in Fatima by Benoliel, the so-called miracle of the sun, the author of this essay verified that in two of them tracks of smoke were visible and an object in the sky that, according to his knowledge of astrophysics and meteorology, could not be the sun. With many doubts about his discovery, he felt that the only way to check it would be to see the picture’s negative and confirm whether or not those objects and tracks of smoke were the same, or if they were merely extrinsic stains. This essay sheds some light on what went unnoticed by researchers for more than 100 years and it seeks to demonstrate that some of the photos are a unique testimony to the phenomenon that occurred in Fátima on October 17, 1917.
