Even today, wood remains indispensable to the creation of art, devotional objects, houses, and furniture. Johann Feilacher's sculptures are also made of wood, in fact, they are made of wood in its purest form tree trunks. Completely non-representational, their shape is entirely their own, but at the same time linked to the sculptor's ideas and thoughts at the time of creation.
