Il volume vuole essere un primo bilancio dell’esperienza del TFA (Tirocinio di Formazione Attiva) ordinario delle classi di ambito letterario che si è svolto presso la Facoltà di Lettere e Filosofia della Sapienza di Roma negli anni 2012-2013. Le questioni legate alla formazione docenti e all’insegnamento dell’italiano, delle lingue classiche e della letteratura sono al centro dei contributi introduttivi scritti dalle curatrici, da Roberto Nicolai, Luca Serianni, Stefano Quaglia e Carlo Albarello, docenti dell’università e della scuola attenti da anni alle problematiche della didattica disciplinare.
