A History of the Swedish-Americans of Minnesota
Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. John I. Johnson Family, the Ola I. Levin Family and Related Families
Jöns (John) I. Ingemansson (1846-1929) was born at Osterslöv, Skåne, Sweden. He married Carolina Johannesdotter (b.1846) of Väckelsång, Småland, Sweden. They emigrated in 1896 to Walnut Grove, Minn., where he changed his surname to Johnson. They were the parents of Carl, Anna, August, Ida and Bernhard. Their son Carl married Mathilda Nordstrom in 1900. John's brother, Ola Ingemansson, changed his surname to Levin in 1876. In 1888, he married Maria Mickelson at Rock Springs, Wyoming. They were the parents of four daughters: Selma, Emma, Anna and Marie, and two sons, Axel and Carl. Several generations of descendants are given.
