Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.

Jöns (John) I. Ingemansson (1846-1929) was born at Osterslöv, Skåne, Sweden. He married Carolina Johannesdotter (b.1846) of Väckelsång, Småland, Sweden. They emigrated in 1896 to Walnut Grove, Minn., where he changed his surname to Johnson. They were the parents of Carl, Anna, August, Ida and Bernhard. Their son Carl married Mathilda Nordstrom in 1900. John's brother, Ola Ingemansson, changed his surname to Levin in 1876. In 1888, he married Maria Mickelson at Rock Springs, Wyoming. They were the parents of four daughters: Selma, Emma, Anna and Marie, and two sons, Axel and Carl. Several generations of descendants are given.
