Women and Politics in Iran
Why were urban women veiled in the early 1900s, unveiled from 1936 to 1979, and reveiled after the 1979 revolution? A Social History of Modern Tehran
Tehran, the capital of Iran since the late eighteenth century, is now one of the largest cities in the Middle East.
