The "Neverland Valley-Welcome" sign depicts a little boy, bending over to talk to a troll. Peter Pan was playing at the packed eighty-seat, 7,000 square-foot theatre. Popcorn and drinks were dished up gratis to the mobs at the concession stand. On-screen, Captain Hook had ten wide-eyed children in white nightshirts bound and gagged, about to be fed to the crocodile. Nearby, amid the rides, a band was taking a break. Beat It thumped loudly from hidden speakers. A circus-like tent houses the bumper cars, where jubilant lads, faces flushed with excitement, rammed each other with enthusiasm. I freely admitted, there was no doubt that allegations of child molestation had hurt Jackson in this comm...

The Feisty Professor is back yet again! Bridlington author Trev Haymer presents his ninth publication since retirement. This is Trev's fourth book in the popular The Feisty Professor series. In her mid-thirties, our spiky red-haired protagonist is a professor of Archaeology and Forensic Science who lectures at universities. Assisting the local cash-strapped police force, the intrepid investigator tackles yet more unusual mystery cases, most of which are set in and around Bretelton, an ancient Anglo Saxon name for the present east coast seaside resort of Bridlington. As usual, Prof's cases are spiked with danger and spiced with humour.

Until this volume was compiled, the results of the 1920 Olympics held in Antwerp, Belgium, have been far from complete. The Antwerp organizing committee typed up a report of the results almost as an afterthought because it was so financially strapped after the games. For some events only the medalists are listed, with little, if any, additional information. Very few copies were ever produced, and those few copies were in French. The seventh in a series on the early Olympics, this work fills a gap in the recording of early Olympics history by providing complete results for all competitors and all events (except for shooting, which has only partial information available). In virtually all cases, a 1920 source has been used in preference to a more modern source of information, and all details have been fully researched in contemporary newspapers, journals, and magazines and checked for accuracy by experts on various sports from all over the world.
