Don’t Worry About a Thing The meditator Dust is steered into community work by the Divinology Church, where like Dante in infernal circles he trawls people’s rubbish in aberrant and miserifying scenes. With sainted girlfriend Blue Wendy and ascetic Anna Rex, all underhinged by his Employer’s spidery cult, we trace a satire on Dust’s fabulations with the need to evolve, with the problem of who and how to be. Chaos Lean the journalist claims he is terminally ill. ‘I spent a career conjuring stories for public consumption: now the parasites eat me’. The unruly girl Dora Jarr worms in. Her mission? To skewer corruption in ‘the business of nano-genetics.’ Trash novella, rant, love...

'A shaggy dog story with a lovely happy ending' - BBC Breakfast on Arthur THE SEQUEL TO THE INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLER ARTHUR Arthur and Friends is the continued adventures of Arthur, the plucky, scruffy stray dog from Ecuador who followed his owner Mikael through the jungle to find his forever home. From Arthur's first Christmas in Sweden and trips to London, to a terrifying bout of illness and family camping adventures, Arthur and Friends is the next gripping, uplifting chapter of Arthur and Mikael's story. Interspersed with this narrative are heart-warming, moving readers' stories of their own rescue dogs. From Ecuador to America to Australia and everywhere in between, the stories of these other 'Arthurs' prove both that dogs are man's best friend, and that a little kindness can go a very long way.

This book paves the way for a more enlarged discussion on religion and migration phenomena in countries of Northern and Southern Europe. Although official religion persisted longer in Nordic Protestant countries than in South Mediterranean countries, levels of secularization are higher. In the last decades, both Northern and Southern Europe have received strong flows of newcomers. From this perspective, the book presents through various theoretical lenses and empirical researches the impact mobility and consequent religious transnationalism have on multi...

Falconridge

In Jennifer Wilde’s spine-tingling Gothic romance, a young woman is plunged into a treacherous world of secrets, lies, and murder when she moves into a mysterious mansion by the sea When Lauren Moore is left penniless by the death of her mother, the invitation to live with distant relatives in Cornwall seems like the answer to her prayers. But Falconridge, perched on the edge of a steep cliff, waves crashing onto the rocks below, is a place of shadowed halls and locked doors. Why does the housekeeper warn Lauren to leave and never come back? What secrets does the house hold? Most intriguing of all is Norman Wade, Lauren’s cousin by marriage and heir to the brooding ancestral mansion. The devilishly handsome playboy warns her of the perils that could befall her at his home. More determined than ever to stay and unlock Falconridge’s mystery, Lauren begins to suspect that the greatest danger comes from the seductive Wade himself. Then tragedy strikes—and no one is safe.
