Peter Graber was born in 1816 in Edwardsdorf, Russia the fourth child of Johann and Barbara Stucky Graber. He died 19 March 1889 probably in Pretty Prairie, Kansas. On 27 March 1839 he married Marie Lisabeth Strausz (d. 1859). His second marriage was to Katherine Senner in 1854 who was born 7 May 1836 and died 18 June 1921. They emigrated to America between 1874 and 1876, living in Ohio, South Dakota and possibly Kansas where his parents had settled and many of his descendants lived. Descendants lived in Kansas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Montana, Oregon, Washinsgton, California, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Indiana, Nebraska and elsewhere.
