Thomas Young was born in about 1747 in Baltimore County, Maryland. He married Naomi Hyatt, daughter of Seth Hyatt and Priscilla, in about 1768. They had four children. Thomas died in 1829 in North Carolina. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina.

Henry the Young King, 1155-1183

The Ordinary Genius
Occasionally, and if we are very fortunate, we meet someone who inspires us. Arnold Platt was such a person—he influenced and inspired many people whose lives he touched. His accomplishments suggest his genius, but as he chose the path of influence rather than power, his contributions were seldom credited publicly.
