ECAI 2016
Artificial Intelligence continues to be one of the most exciting and fast-developing fields of computer science. This book presents the 177 long papers and 123 short papers accepted for ECAI 2016, the latest edition of the biennial European Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Europe’s premier venue for presenting scientific results in AI. The conference was held in The Hague, the Netherlands, from August 29 to September 2, 2016. ECAI 2016 also incorporated the conference on Prestigious Applications of Intelligent Systems (PAIS) 2016, and the Starting AI Researcher Symposium (STAIRS). The papers from PAIS are included in this volume; the papers from STAIRS are published in a separate volume in the Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications (FAIA) series. Organized by the European Association for Artificial Intelligence (EurAI) and the Benelux Association for Artificial Intelligence (BNVKI), the ECAI conference provides an opportunity for researchers to present and hear about the very best research in contemporary AI. Programming Languages and Systems
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 19th European Symposium on Programming, ESOP 2010, held in Paphos, Cyprus, in March 2010, as part of ETAPS 2010, the European Joint Conferences on Theory and Practice of Software. The 30 revised full papers, presented together with two invited talks (one abstract and one full), were carefully reviewed and selected from 121 full paper submissions. Software Verification
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 12th International Conference on Verified Software, VSTTE 2020, and the 13th International Workshop on Numerical Software Verification, NSV 2020, held in Los Angeles, CA, USA, in July 2020. Due to COVID-19 pandemic the conference was held virtually. The 13 papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 21 submissions. The papers describe large-scale verification efforts that involve collaboration, theory unification, tool integration, and formalized domain knowledge as well as novel experiments and case studies evaluating verification techniques and technologies. The conference was co-located with the 32nd International Conference on Computer-Aided Verification (CAV 2020).

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 16th International Symposium on Static Analysis, SAS 2010, held in Perpignan, France in September 2010. The conference was co-located with 3 affiliated workshops: NSAD 2010 (Workshop on Numerical and Symbolic Abstract Domains), SASB 2010 (Workshop on Static Analysis and Systems Biology) and TAPAS 2010 (Tools for Automatic Program Analysis). The 22 revised full papers presented together with 4 invited talks were carefully reviewed and selected from 58 submissions. Computer Aided Verification
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 21st International Conference on Computer Aided Verification, CAV 2009, held in Grenoble, France, in June/July 2009. The 36 revised full papers presented together with 16 tool papers and 4 invited talks and 4 invited tutorials were carefully reviewed and selected from 135 regular paper and 34 tool paper submissions. The papers are dedicated to the advancement of the theory and practice of computer-aided formal analysis methods for hardware and software systems; their scope ranges from theoretical results to concrete applications, with an emphasis on practical verification tools and the underlying algorithms and techniques.
