The German Migration Integration Regime
Syrian refugees who gained asylum in Germany following the so-called refugee crisis in 2015 quickly entered into an ‘integration regime’ which produced a binary notion of ‘well integrated’ migrants versus refugees falling short of the narrow social and political definitions of a ‘good’ refugee. Etzel’s rich ethnographic study shows how refugees navigated this conditional inclusion. While some asylum seekers gained international protection, others were left with limited agency to demand government accountability for the ever-moving target of integration. Putting a spotlight on the inconsistencies and failings of a universal approach to integration, this is an important contribution to the wider field of migration and anthropology of the state.

S-BPM ONE - Scientific Research
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed scientific proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Subject-Oriented Business Process Management, S-BPM ONE 2012, held in Vienna, Austria, in April 2012. The 12 papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 36 submissions and are completed by one invited keynote paper and a summary of the tutorial onsubject-oriented business process management. S-BPM as a discipline is characterized by a seamless approach toward the analysis, modeling, implementation, execution, and maintenance of business processes, with an explicit stakeholder focus. This interdisciplinary endeavour portrays the central features of militant movements which hold totality as an important part of their doctrinal core. Revisiting the importance of modernity, utopianism, eschatology, charisma, psychology and the history of ideas, Mihai Murariu pursues a reconstruction of the historical requirements for the emergence of such movements. Making a central use of the concept of totalism, the work establishes a conceptual bridge from antiquity to the contemporary period, whilst also arguing for the suitability of the term in comparison to totalitarianism or political religion. Deutschsprachige Handschriften in slowakischen Archiven
Die vorliegenden Bände bieten mit ihren annotierten Verzeichnissen erstmals einen umfassenden Überblick über die deutschsprachigen Handschriften-Bestände des Mittelalters und der Frühen Neuzeit in den wichtigsten Archiven der Slowakischen Republik. Die drei Teilbände sind nach den historischen Siedlungsgebieten der Deutschen gegliedert (West-, Mittel-, und Ostslowakei). Durch die beispiellose Geschlossenheit der Überlieferung und ihre übernationale Bedeutung sind die deutschsprachigen Handschriften aus der Slowakei von einer fächerübergreifenden Relevanz. Das zur Verfügung stehende repräsentative und ganze Regionen erfassende einzigartige Archivmaterial dokumentiert einen wichtigen Bereich der gemeinsamen mitteleuropäischen Geschichte erstmals systematisch und bietet dabei nicht nur Germanisten, Slawisten und Komparatisten, sondern auch Historikern, Theologen und Kulturwissenschaftlern vielfältige Möglichkeiten zur Quellenrecherche und Textarbeit. Da es für andere Länder Mittel- und Osteuropas bisher keine vergleichbar vollständigen Bestandsverzeichnisse gibt, wird das aufbereitete deutschsprachige Handschriftenkorpus Vorbildcharakter erlangen.
