This is a coloring book for adults. It has 84 single-sided pages for coloring printed on 60 lb bond, letter-sized paper. The images are from prints of the surrealistic pen-and-ink drawings of John C. Holden with all their geological overtones. Seven of his prints are presented and each is followed by eleven pages of patterns generated from that print. The styles range from the figurative and organic to the abstract and geometric. They embrace a wide range of skill levels for the colorist, some being quite intricate and complex while others are more simple and open. The coloring process may help you relax and be an outlet for your own creative expression but here you can also find a plethora of thought-provoking images from the fertile imagination of John C. Holden.

Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain imperfections with these old texts, we feel they deserve to be made available for future generations to enjoy.
